"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Oh i will help you! ^-^ I had trouble figuring that out too! LOL
You will have to submit a pic of urself as a Deviant ID. ....Ok sooo go to submit deviation. Then in the category section, find Deviant art related> Deviant ID. Then go to Edit Profile and go to the user display page. Scroll down to wehre it says deviant ID....and find the picture u just submitted. and that should do it! ^-^
